Marissa spent over a decade climbing the executive ladder in healthcare—leading teams, driving strategy, and delivering results in rooms where women’s voices were often the minority.

When she was appointed CEO of a women-focused healthcare organization, it felt like everything she had worked for had finally aligned with something deeper—her mission.

Her company was built to serve women more intentionally. To close gaps in care. To advocate for better outcomes. To create solutions that actually reflected women’s lived experiences.

But stepping into the CEO role came with a new challenge: Visibility.

She wasn’t just leading a company anymore—she was carrying a message. And she needed that message to reach the right audience: the women her organization was designed to serve, and the leaders who could help amplify it.

That’s when she found Warrior Women in Business.

At first glance, it looked like a speaking opportunity. But it quickly became clear—it was something more strategic.

Marissa stepped onto the Warrior Women stage and shared her story—not just the milestones, but the mission behind her leadership. She spoke about the gaps in healthcare for women, the urgency for change, and what it truly means to lead with purpose in a system that needs transformation.

In that room were founders, executives, and decision-makers—but also women who immediately understood the value of what she was building.

After her talk, conversations started happening organically.
Partnerships were explored.
Doors opened.

Then came the Warrior Women in Business live podcast.

Her voice extended beyond the event—reaching a broader audience of women leaders, professionals, and consumers who were actively looking for solutions like hers. The visibility wasn’t just wide—it was aligned.

And perhaps most valuable of all, she found her network.

Through Warrior Women, Marissa connected with other female leaders—women who were also stepping into power, building organizations that serve women, and redefining what leadership looks like. These weren’t surface-level connections. They were strategic relationships rooted in shared purpose.

What started as a speaking engagement became something far more impactful:
A platform to lead from the front.
A space to amplify her mission.
A direct connection to the women her organization was created to support.

That’s what Warrior Women in Business is all about.

It’s where female leaders—especially those stepping into powerful roles to serve women—can be seen, heard, and connected to the audiences, partners, and communities that matter most.

If you’re a woman stepping into leadership with a mission to see women succeed—and you’re building, leading, or transforming organizations to make that happen—this is your invitation.

Warrior Women in Business is now confirming its 2026 speaker lineup, with events planned in NYC, Boca, Chicago, and LA.

Step into the room. Share your voice. Meet the people you are meant to serve.

Connect with Warrior Women in Business today.

Strength doesn’t come from avoiding challenges—it comes from rising through them.

After a life-changing accident impacted my vision, I had a choice: step back… or step forward with even greater purpose.

I chose purpose.

As a female leader in business and music, I’m sharing this story to remind every woman: your power doesn’t disappear in adversity—it’s revealed through it.

With my service dog by my side, I’m navigating a new reality—and building something even stronger than before.

This is the first of many stories we’ll share here.

Because real leadership is lived, not just taught.

Thanks to our partner in arts and culture Women of Culture our members experienced a powerful and deeply moving afternoon of art, culture, and sisterhood with Warrior Women in Business members together with the extraordinary community of Women of Culture at the
Metropolitan Museum of Art ✨ The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York

During our private guided tour of Seeing Silence: Paintings of
Helene Schjerfbeck, we experienced the work of a woman who refused to create safely, refused to follow expectations, and refused to soften her truth at a time in history when female artists were often dismissed as lesser than their male counterparts.

Schjerfbeck’s work felt raw, real, and unapologetic — a complete expression of a woman moving through the stages of her life, captured without vanity, without illusion, and without compromise.

Her self-portraits in particular show the courage of a female artist willing to confront aging, identity, solitude, strength, and transformation head-on — leaving a mark on art history not by fitting in, but by standing fully in her own voice.

It was impossible not to feel the connection between her journey and the journeys of so many women today who are building businesses, leading communities, and creating new paths in spaces that were not always designed for them.

The afternoon began with brunch at The Mark Restaurant by Jean-Georges, where our members reflected on our March theme of sisterhood, empowerment, and expansion, before stepping into an exhibition that perfectly embodied those ideas through art.

Experiences like this are exactly why Warrior Women in Business co-presents cultural gatherings with Women of Culture — because powerful women don’t grow through business alone.
We grow through art, conversation, history, courage, and connection.

And yesterday was a reminder that women who dare to be raw, honest, and fully themselves — in art or in business — are the ones who leave the deepest mark on the world.
